VIPD’s Records Bureau, Firearms and Fingerprints Offices 
Temporary Closure on St. Thomas 
 
St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands - The Virgin Islands Police Department, St. Thomas 
District announces that the Records Bureau, Firearms and Fingerprints will be closed today 
Monday, October 2, 2023, due to upgrades to the air-condition panel which will directly 
affect the operation of the offices. Normal business hours are anticipated to resume on 
Tuesday, October 3, 2023. 
We apologize for any inconvenience that this closure may cause.
