Re: Nomination of Mr. Kirk Callwood—Banking Board of the United States Virgin Islands

In accordance with the provisions of Title 3, Chapter 3 § 42 of the Virgin Islands Code, | hereby nominate

Mr. Kirk Callwood to serve as a member of the Banking Board of the United States Virgin Islands representing

the District of St. Thomas-St. John. He brings a wealth of experience through having served in the following

notable capacities: Chief Operations Officer and Vice President of Merchants Commercial Bank, Co-CEO and

Chief Internal Operating Officer of International Capital and Management Company, Commissioner of Finance,

ex-officio member of the Public Finance Authority Board of Directors, the Virgin Islands Board of Tax Review,

the Tax Study Commission, the Virgin Islands Lottery Commission, and the Banking Board of the United States

Virgin Islands.



Accordingly, it is my pleasure to ask for the advice and consent of the Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin

Islands on the nomination of Mr. Kirk Callwood. His resume is enclosed for your review. I respectfully urge the

Legislature to take timely action to advance this nomination to prevent any delays in the official functions of the

Banking Board of the United States Virgin Islands.
