BOARD OF TRUSTEES R LUT



Purpose



To increase the graduation fee for 1993-94 from $25 to $50.



WHEREAS, graduation fees have historically been set at a level to cover costs

of graduation regalia, diplomas, and invitations, and



WHEREAS, the University has decided to purchase retainable regalia for

graduates rather than to maintain a supply of such regalia, and



WHEREAS costs for invitations and diplomas have risen in recent years, and

WHEREAS graduation fees have been held at the same rate for seven years

NOW THEREFORE BE IN RESOLVED:



ia That the Board of Trustees of the University hereby authorizes and

approves the increase in the graduation fee from $25 to $50 for the 1993-94

academic year.



2. That the Board of Trustees authorizes the President to take the necessary

action to implement the foregoing change in fees.

at its meeting on Saturday April 3, 1993, as recorded in the minutes of said meeting.
