interesting

exciting.
As had
been
pre-arranged
and
announced,
. a review of Red
Cross
activi-
ties
in and for this
island
was
a
feature
of the
evening,
Mr.
R.
W.
Skeoch
ad-
dressing
the
auadience
in
place
of
the
chairman,
Mr.
F.
Coulter,
*‘who
was absent
through
illness.
Mr. Skeoch
recounted
details
to
show
that
the
money
collected
here
b’
the
Red
Cross
was
actaally
used
in
the
is-
land,
and
encouraged
all
those
who
might
be
otherwise
impressed
to
be
convinced
of the fact
and
join in
mak-
ing
the
present
driv: a successful
one.
Mrs. Hark
who
is one of the
campaign-
ers

in
the
audience
he
said
and
would
receive
subseriptions
last
night.
