The Scope of Work is for Design Build Professional Services for the following:



[. Engineering analysis of the hurricane damaged roofing system, adjacent parameter wall

repairs, roofing guttering system, and the downspout system. .

2. Architectural & Engineering Design (Construction documents) and permitting;



3. The construction work to-make the repairs according to the VIDE/DPNR approved

Construction Documents.

In addition to the Contractor's Architectural & Engineering Design and Project Management

Qualifications, the RFP is: requesting an overall project cost. Please confirm that this RFP is for

Professional Services Qualifications only and the-overall project cost is not considered in this RFP;

since. the cost cannot be determined unti] the analysis and design iscomplete.

This RFP will not be awarded based on qualifications only. A complete-project cost. for both the

engineering work and construction work efforts are required to be submitted in the cost proposal].

Please refer to the rating sheet provided with the RFP, which outlines the rating criteria for contract

award..

What documents are available to aid in the preparation of the proposal, such as performance

specifications, design or operational parameters, or plans of the existing facility?



Response to Question 3



Currently, there are no existing plans for the CARS gym. It is anticipated that the selected

contractor will work: with the VIDE's Engineer and Witt O'Brien in collaboration with the permits

office in developing an overall acceptable level of. repairs that. will be considered d “Cat-B” work.

Finished work’should keep the gym roofing system & guttering system watertight & functional for

a minimum of five (5) years,
