Be it enactel by the .Colonial Council for the Municipality of St. Croix. Sect. 1. Wild birds in this municipality are hereby divided into three classes as follows (ana specified below) Cliey A, Class B, and Class (, Any person who knowingiy or wil- fully kills, wounds or takes any wild bird specified in Class A. or takes, removes, injures or destrovs any nest or egg of any sach wild bird or exposes for sale or knowingly or wilfully has in his possession any such wild bird or any part of such wild bird killed, woundzd or taken, or the nest or eggs ¢f any such bird taken in this municipali- ty, or who exports or attempts to export the skin or plumage or the nest or eggs’of any. such bird shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Any person who between Febru- ary first and July fifteenth know- ingly or wilfully kills, wounds or takes any wild bird specified below in Class 8., or takes, removes, in- jures or destroys any nest or egg of such bird, or knowingly or wilj fully has in his possession, or ex- poses or offer: for sale or purchases any such bird killed, wounded or taken or the nest or egg of any such bird during the dates speci fied, which shall be known as the close season, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
