Family) zoning designation for Parcel No. 14 Rem. Estate Carolina, Coral Bay Quarter, St.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  Pursuant to title 29 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 3, Section 238a, a zoning 
2 
use variance from the R-2 (Residential-Low Density-One and Two Family) zoning designation 
3 
is granted for Parcel No. 14 Rem. Estate Carolina, Coral Bay Quarter, St. John, consisting of 
4 
approximately 2.309 U.S. acres as shown on Drawing No. D9-694l-T00l, Warranty Deed dated 
5 
February 23, 2017, to allow for Animals, Boarding (Kennels), Clinic (Office), Hospital 
6 
(Veterinary), Shelter (Pound) and Playgrounds with the following conditions:

(1) 
A noise survey must be conducted prior to the building permit application 
8 
submission, to determine the area that may be impacted by noise. 
9 
(2) 
A noise-proof building, including walls and ceilings, must be designed and 
10 
developed based on results of the noise survey.

(3) 
No outdoor kennels are allowed.

This bill grants a zoning use variance from the R-2 (Residential-Low Density-One and

Two Family) zoning designation for Parcel No. 14 Rem. Estate Carolina, Coral Bay Quarter,

St. John to allow for Animals, Boarding (Kennels), Clinic (Office), Hospital (Veterinary),

Shelter (Pound) and Playgrounds with certain conditions.
