U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS - The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services (VIDHS), Division of Family Assistance (DFA) is advising the community that the SNAP/MAP Certification units in the St. Thomas and St. Croix districts will have a half-day closure on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 8:00am to 1:00pm to allow staff the opportunity to attend an end of month meeting. The units will resume operations to the public at 1:00pm. To better serve our clients’ needs and ensure that the USVI adheres to the federal guidelines set forth by the program requirements, the entire certification unit will be attending a mandatory month-end meeting. The VI Department of Human Services apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this early closure.
