GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Public Services Commission IN RE: THE VIRGIN ISLANDS TELEPHONE ) Docket No. 626 CORPORATION RATE INVESTIGATION _ ) Order No. 15/2015 ) ORDER WHEREAS, on December 8, 2008, the Virgin Islands Public Services (hereinafter “Commission” or “PSC”) completed its rate investigation for the Virgin Islands Telephone Corporation d/b/a Innovative Telephone (hereinafter “Innovative Telephone”) in Docket 578, Order No. 13/2009; and WHEREAS, in 2010 the Commission approved a Transfer of Control Agreement for Innovative Telephone and St. Thomas-St. John and St. Croix Cable Television, which provided for a four year rate freeze in Docket 582; and WHEREAS, as of the date of this Order the four year rate freeze has now expired and prior to the initiation of a new rate case a new depreciation schedule is essential to have accurate and consistent financial information; and WHEREAS, on December 16, 2015, the Commission met in regular session at both its offices on St. Croix and St. Thomas; and WHEREAS, upon review and deliberation the Commission voted to appoint Attorney Ronald W. Belfon as Hearing Examiner to preside over the proceedings in Docket 626; and NOW THEREFORE, the Commission ORDERS that Attorney Ronald W. Belfon is APPOINTED as Hearing Examiner to preside over the proceedings in Docket 626. So Ordered.
