Man Charged with Reckless Endangerment After Complaint was Filed 
St. Croix, USVI - In July of 2022 a report of a reckless driving complaint was filed. After 
investigation an arrest warrant was obtained for the arrest of Mr. Kertis Tonge, Jr. The 
warrant was signed by the Honorable Superior Court on March 14, 2023. Then on March 20, 
2023, an all-points bulletin was aired in search for Mr. Kertis Tonge Jr. Thereafter, on March 
21, 2023, Mr. Kertis Tonge Jr., age 32, turned himself in to the Wilbur H. Francis Command 
where he was served with a certified copy of the arrest warrant. Mr. Tonge, Jr., was arrested 
without incident, he was booked and unable to post the $30,000.00 bail. He faces charges of 
reckless endangerment first and assault third. He was transported to the John Bell 
Correctional Facility where he was remanded pending his Advice of Rights Hearing.
