Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. REPEAL OF CERTAIN LAWS PERTAINING TO 3 THE VIRGIN ISLANDS. 4 (a) REPEAL.—Sections 1 through 6 of the Act of May 5 26, 1936 (48 U.S.C. 1401 et seq.), are repealed. 6 (b) EFFECTIVE DATE.—The amendment made by 7 this section takes effect on July 22, 1954. 8 Æ
