Frederick Sponsor: Avery L. Lewis and Angel L. Bolques, Jr. Co-sponsors: Carla J. Joseph, Novelle E. Francis, Jr., and Ray Fonseca Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. Act No. 8950 is amended by adding sections 4 and 5: 2 “SECTION 4. The public roadway commonly known as Contentment Road on 3 the island of St. Croix is re-named the “Senator Alicia “Chucky” Hansen Lane” in honor 4 of Senator Alicia “Chucky” Hansen’s long-standing legislative legacy and service. The 5 Contentment Road is particularly fitting to be renamed for Senator Hansen since it was 6 along this road that the Legislature of the Virgin Islands was previously located and 7 where Senator Hansen performed much of her extensive service. The Department of 8 Public Works shall, within 90 days of the enactment of this act, erect at each end of 9 Contentment Road, a sign bearing the inscription “Senator Alicia “Chucky” Hansen 10 Lane”.” 11 SECTION 5.
