Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  (a) The sum of $1,500,000 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending 
2 
September 30, 2026, from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin 
3 
Islands to the Virgin Islands Diabetes Center of Excellence for staffing and operations in the 
4 
Territory.

(b) 
The sum appropriated in subsection (a) remains available until expended.

BILL SUMMARY

This bill provides an appropriation from the General Fund of the Treasury of the 
8 
Government of the Virgin Islands to the Virgin Islands Diabetes Center of Excellence for 
9 
staffing and operations in the Territory.
