Dear Senate President Potter:



Transmitted herewith in accordance are the provisions of Title 31, Section 205, subsection (c),

Virgin Islands Code is the following Lease Agreement submitted for ratification by the Thirty-

Sixth Legislature:



Lease_Agreement between the Government_of the Virgin Islands, acting through the

Department of Property and Procurement and St. Thomas Cricket Association, Inc. (OLC No.



0139-2026).



Under the proposed Lease Agreement, the Government will lease Parcel N-2 of Tract 1 Estate

Nazareth, No. | Redhook Quarter, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, consisting of 312,150.96 U.S.

sq. ft. or 7.166 U.S. acre(s) more-or-less (hereinafter “the Premises”) to St. Thomas Cricket

Association, Inc. be used to promote and develop the sport of cricket throughout the territory of the

U.S. Virgin Islands. The initial lease term is 30 years with the option to renew for two additional 10-

year periods. This lease agreement is anticipated to stimulate investment in the sports tourism sector

and further enhance its contribution to the Territory’s economic growth.
