construction

Officer left the island
I talked
with
him
regarding
new
work
for
1923-1924
and
was
tuld by him
that there
is
quite some
work fappropriated
for
that
will not
be
ecompleted
at the
end of
the fiscal
year as
he had
no time to attend
to the:n.
Ithink
in all fairness
ro the peovle of this island
this unfinished
work should
be taken
care
of, particularly
as
there
is
a charce
of
securing
the necessary
amount from Fed-
eral appropriations.
