Lieutenant Governor Osbert E. Potter Out of the Territory Attending the 
NAIC Summer National Meeting in Chicago, Illinois  
 
Lieutenant Governor Osbert E. Potter will be out of the Territory on August 14, 
2015 to attend the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) Summer 
National Meeting in Chicago, Illinois. The summer meeting will host insurance regulators 
from numerous states, the District of Columbia and the 5 U.S. territories.  Lt. Governor 
Potter serves as the territory’s Commissioner of Insurance.  
Through the NAIC, state insurance regulators establish standards and best 
practices, conduct peer review, and coordinate their regulatory oversight. 
In accordance with the Revised Organic Act, Senate President Neville James will 
serve as Acting Lieutenant Governor.  Lt. Governor Potter will return to the territory on 
August 19, 2015.
