case
was
made
vesterday
and
the
interrogation
of

Payne
was
vary
interesting.
The
faets
adduced
are
what
the
pub-
lic had
been
desirous
of learning for some
time.
Other
heirings
gave
rise
to
much
irrelevancy
and
waste
of
the
commission’s
time
and it
is hoped
that
those
who wish
to be
heard
wou'd
appre-
ciate
the business
for which these
gentle-
men
are
here
and
not burden
them

the
listeners

acceptance

Invitation,

members
of the Colonial Council of
