Architectural/Engineering (A/E) Firms to Perform

Design Services for the Island of St. Croix



INSERT: Questions & Answers



1. Question: Please confirm if the Department of Property and Procurement will award the



contract to non-residents / foreign firms. If so, please confirm if such firms also be

required to obtain a Business License.



Answer: These services require you to be on island and therefore a U.S. Virgin Islands

business license is required.



Question: The Instruction to Proposers (Item E) states that “seven (7) sets of proposals”

are required. However, the Scope of Services indicates that five (5) copies are to be

submitted. Please confirm the number of copies which must be submitted.



Answer: One (1) original and six (6) copies.

Question: Please confirm if the services required are Architecture Design Services or

Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing) Design Services, or



both?



Answer: Yes, the services solicited are both Architecture and Engineering Design

Services.

4. Question: The scope of Services requires that “an anticipated project schedule” be

included in the submission. However, it is difficult to develop one at this stage without

knowing the full scope of the project. Please confirm if this is required?



Answer: Acknowledged. A project schedule is not required at this time based on the fact

that no specific project is identified under this RFP.



5. Question: Please confirm the duration of the consultancy period?

Answer: The duration of consultancy period is two (2) years.

6. Question: Please confirm that a Cost Proposal is not required at this stage.



Answer: Cost is not required at this stage.



All other terms and conditions remain the same.
