The prodecure for conferring emeritus status on former faculty mem- bers of the College of the Virgin Islands parallels the procedure for granting tenure to members of the faculty. The process will begin on or before March 15 of each academic year and the President will sub- mit a list of candidates eligible (see below) for emeritus status to the Faculty Review Advisory Committee (FRAC). The results of the FRAC deliberations will then be transmitted as in the case of recommendations for tenure. The granting of emeritus status, in accordance with the stated criteria, may be made retroactive to any academic year. Il. Criteria 1.
