Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the University of the Virgin Islands 
Approving the UVI Naming Policy 
 
 
WHEREAS, the University of the Virgin Islands has made significant strides to cultivate 
relationships with corporations, foundations, friends and alumni constituents, and 
 
WHEREAS, the Development Committee of the UVI Board of Trustees decided to clarify the 
obligations required by the University and the Donor as well as identifying responsible parties 
for assessing appropriate naming opportunities, and 
 
WHEREAS, the Development Committee has voted to recommend to the Board of Trustees the 
revised UVI Naming Policy for consideration. 
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY: 
 
That the Board of Trustees of the University of the Virgin Islands hereby authorizes and 
approves, the revised UVI Naming Policy, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A.

The Undersigned does hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and exact copy of a resolution 
approved by the Board of Trustees of the University of the Virgin Islands at a meeting on March
