July 10, 2020 AMENDMENT ONE (1) RFP-020-C-2020 (P)- Watershed Management Service, St. Croix, USVI. INSERT: QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Question: What is the minimum number of sample locations per watershed/sub-basin? One per major gut? Answer: Yes. Question: What is the minimum profile of water quality data needed? Would DO, pH, Turbidity, temperature be sufficient for in-situ samples? Answer: Yes. For lab analysis, nutrients and Heavy Metals would suffice? Yes. I would assume bacteria (enterococci, fecal coliform and/or E. coli) would be essential as well? Yes. Any VOCs or Fats, Oils & Grease (FOG)? As possible. Question: Sampling should only be done during rain events? Or should perennial guts be sampled? Answer: Sampling during rain events at a minimum. Question: Will available data regarding existing field conditions (e.g. topography, land use management maps, Source Water and Ground water, wetland areas, future land use scenario data, etc.) be provided as ArcGIS shape files? Answer: Yes. Question: Regarding kick-off and watershed meetings for public, will those be required to be held in both Districts, or can they be scheduled for just St. Croix island? Answer: The St. Croix district project should have meetings in St. Croix. Question: Regarding the stakeholder meetings, will those be required to be held in any specific District, or on St. Croix only? Answer: The St. Croix district project should have meetings in St. Croix. Question: Besides DPNR, is there a list of governmental agencies, NGOs, or other institutions that must be consulted with when developing the deliverables? Answer: The project will comply with EPA standards. Other relevant partners include the Department of Public Works, VI Waste Management Authority, Department of Agriculture, Housing and Finance Authority, with others possible. All other terms and conditions remain the same. A copy of this amendment must be returned with your bid.
