Media Advisory: DHS Offices Temporarily Closed Territory-wide 
U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS - The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services (DHS) is announcing that 
all offices territory-wide will be closed on Friday, June 20th. This closure is a precautionary 
measure following a potential network breach reported Wednesday morning. 
We are currently working with the Bureau of Information Technology (BIT) and our internal MIS 
teams to assess and address the situation.  
Essential services like Meals on Wheels and Homemaker Services will continue. We appreciate 
your patience and will provide updates. 
The Department of Human Services (VIDHS) exists to provide social services to members in our
