Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  (a) Notwithstanding the use restrictions in 33 V.I.C. §3072(c), there is

appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, the sum of $400,000 from the 
3 
Tourism Advertising Revolving Fund to the Virgin Islands Taxicab Commission for the 
4 
implementation of technological upgrades, including the digitization of paper records and files 
5 
and collaborating with B.I.T. to advise on the most suitable equipment and software for the 
6 
technological upgrades.

(b) 
The funds appropriated in section 1 remain available until expended.

BILL SUMMARY

This bill appropriates the sum of $400,000 from the Tourism Advertising Revolving

Fund to the Virgin Islands Taxicab Commission for the implementation of technological

upgrades including the digitization of paper records and files and collaborating with B.I.T. to
