COLLEGE'S PARTICIPATION IN TITLE IIl PROGRAM

The Board agreed that the President should proceed with a proposal

to the U.S. Office of Education for participation in Title III of the Higher

Education Act. This program provides for federal support to be drawn

primarily through association with older and better established colleges



and universities.
