To amend the Virgin Islands of the United States Centennial 
Commission Act to extend the expiration date of the 
Commission, and for other purposes. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. AMENDMENT.

The Virgin Islands of the United States Centennial 
4
Commission Act (Public Law 114–224) is amended— 
5
(1) in section 4, by adding at the end the fol-
6
lowing new subsection: 
7
‘‘(i) FAILURE TO APPOINT.—If the Governor of the 
8
Virgin Islands of the United States or the designee of the 
9
Governor declines to make or does not make the appoint-

(3) in section 10, by striking ‘‘September 30,

2018’’ and inserting ‘‘September 30, 2019’’; and 
8
(4) by striking section 11.
