is further provided

said
Act as
follows:

shall
otherwise
provide,
in
so far as compatible
with
the
changed
sovereignty
and
not in
conflict
with
the
provisions
of this
Act,
the
laws
regulating
elections
and
the
electoral
franchise
as
set
forth
in
the
code
of laws
published
at
Amalienborg
ihe
6th
of
April,
1906,
and
tne
other
local
laws
in
force andeffect
in said Islands
on the
17th day of January,
1917,

re-
main
in force and
effect
in

aforementioned
advance
in the
rate
of
exchange,

announce

order
to
provide
sufficient
means
whereby
the
employes
of
the
Government
of the
said
Virgin
Islands

the salaries

paid

such
