Amendment #1 RFP-014-T-2020 (P) Page 2 Questions and Answers: The RFP states 120 days for site design, development and launch - can you provide any insights as to what is driving that launch timeline and is there any flexibility for when the site will launch? Response: The Department of Human Services is making every effort to meet an already approved deadline therefore the timeline for launching is not flexible. In looking at the Virgin Islands Business License, it states that it takes 6 - 8 weeks to process. Would GVI be open to having vendors at least submit and show that proper paperwork has been submitted and in process for a business license within 10 days of contract award, if awarded the contract? Response: Yes, the GVI would be willing to cooperate with the awardee with regards to the submission of documents outside of their direct control. Can GVI provide a budget range or a not to exceed dollar amount for this contract? Response: The Department of Human Services will make a cost estimation for this project when we are better informed of what is practical and reasonable in this instance. Should the vendor include travel costs as a separate line item in the budget, or will travel be reimbursed as costs are incurred? Response: Travel costs should be line itemed in the proposal. Can you please confirm that GVI is looking for new site built within a new content management system to replace the current site found at - http://www.dhs.gov.vi/OCCRS/index.html Response: DHS is looking to new site for www.dhs.gov.vi and to focus on the /OCCRS link Are vendors providing any design/development updates for the Virgin Islands page on childcare.gov - https://childcare.gov/index.php/state-resources?state=119 Response: New links will be developed during the design/development and DHS will work with federal partners to have childcare.gov updated. The RFP mentions that the vendor will help redesign and develop the DHS services website - is the consumer education content and provider search tool intended to be a Amendment #1 RFP-012-2018 (P) Provide Audit Readiness Assistance of Capital Assets for the Government of the Virgin Islands (“GVI") Page 3 microsite stemming from the main site? Are vendors technically designing and developing two separate sites for this work? Can you please clarify. Response: The search tool should be integrated within the www.dhs.gov.vi/OCCRS link. DHS leaves it up to the vendor to develop the best process for a search tool. 8. How many PDFs are currently on the site? Response: Currently there are 50.
