Woman Reports Assault by her Child’s Father 
 
St. Thomas, USVI – On Sunday, April 2, 2023, at about 2:00 p.m., Mr. Nigel Titre a 31-
year-old male, was placed under arrest after he punched his daughter’s mother in the face. 
The victim sustained a large contusion above her left eye. The victim stated that while she 
was holding their minor daughter, she was struck by Mr. Titre during an early morning verbal 
dispute. The victim further stated that she called 911 to report the assault and when officers 
traveled to contact Mr. Titre, he had already fled the scene. Mr. Titre turned himself into the 
Domestic Violence Unit after admitting to assaulting his daughter’s mother. He was charged 
with Simple Assault (DV), and Disturbance of the Peace (DV) with no bail. Titre was turned 
over to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advise of Rights Hearing. 
This case is presently under investigation by the Domestic Violence Bureau/CIB. Anyone
