Richards JN OGA WON = mm © BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTIN 1. Title 23, chapter 9, section 605, subsection (f), Virgin Islands Code is hereby repealed and a new subsection (f) is added to read as follows: “(f) All monies collected pursuant to this section shall be deposited into the Fire Service Emergency Fund established pursuant to title 33, chapter 111, section 3032, Virgin Islands Code. 1 2 5 6 7 8 SECTION 2. Title 33, chapter 111, section 3032, subsection (a), Virgin Islands Code, the second sentence thereof, is amended by striking the figure “50%” and inserting in lieu thereof the word “all”. The proposed legislation is needed to allow the Virgin Islands Fire Service to utilize the total resources collected from their new fees for mandatory operational expenditures; (i.e., supplies, utilities, small equipment, protective gear, etc.).
