ORDER



WHEREAS, on June 23, 2014, the Virgin Islands Telephone Company (hereinafter

“VITELCO”) came before the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (hereinafter “PSC” or

the “Commission’) in a regular session; and



WHEREAS, the Commission voted to reopen the Investigation of VITELCO

Depreciation Schedule as Docket 628 and appoint Attorney Lorin M. Kleeger as Hearing

Examiner to preside over the proceedings in Docket 628, PSC Order No. 41/2014; and



WHEREAS, Attorney Kleeger notified the Commission of a potential conflict with the

duties of hearing examiner in this matter and asked to withdraw; and



WHEREAS, at the Commission’s meeting of September 29, 2014, upon review and

deliberation the Commission voted to POSTONE the selection of identifying a new Hearing

Examiner to preside over the proceedings for Docket 628: The Investigation of VITELCO

Depreciation Schedule; and



NOWTHEREFORE, the Commission hereby:



1. RESCINDS the appointment of Lorin Kleeger as hearing examiner in this matter.
