that

newspapers

benefits

improvements
that
affords
her

out tor her rights,
she
is

pable of supporting
heiself,
her
harbors
are
always
{ilted with ships,
while searce-

vessels

here,
on accouit
of not
having
a good
harbour,
and
noth-
ing for export
but
a
few
bags
of
suugar
and
for the past
four years
that is
so
lu-
tie that
it is hardly
worth
while mention-
ing,
then
she
has
her
millionaires
who

houses,
while
the
whoie of St.
Croix
put
toget
er
cannot
equal
one.

no comparison

tween
the Virgin Islands
and
Porto
Rieo.,
Don’t
look
at
the
large
salaries
that
some
are receiving,
that

not
coming
out of our treasury,
you cau’t kick
about
a place
bringing
one
hundred
thousand
dollars
whiie her expenses
are
three
hun-
dred
thousand.
