I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to respectfully inform you that I am unable to 
attend the committee meeting on Friday, July 10, 2026 as I will be out of the Territory attending 
the 2026 National Forum on Education Policy in Washington, DC.  
 
I note the importance of the items on the agenda, and I look forward to weighing in on the 
matters as soon as practicable. I would like to ask my colleagues for their support on my 
proposed measure, Bill No. 36-0224, an act amending title 20 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 51, 
subchapter I, section 801 relating to the moving violations point system. Additionally, I kindly 
request that all pertinent information shared with the committee be delivered to my office.
