Box 4268 San Juan, Puerto Rico 00936-4268 This letter confirms the November 7, 1989 telephone conversations I had with each of you. EPA has received all of your responses to its proposed June 30, 1989 Administrative Order for the Tutu Wells Site. Pursuant to your responses, EPA has scheduled a meeting in its New York office on November 21, 1989 at 10:00 A.M. Representatives from all three parties presently appear able to attend this meeting. The purpose of this meeting is essentially two-fold. First, the meeting will serve as a means for the parties to become formally acquainted. Second, the meeting will provide the framework for moving this case forward. More specifically, based on this meeting, and all prior correspondence, EPA expects to receive in writing, by December 9, 1989, all your detailed comments or concerns regarding the specific language of the proposed Administrative Order. In short, the meeting is intended to begin negotiations regarding the above-referenced Order; EPA plans on having an Order in place by early 1990. TUT 007 .1202 *64983* 64983 I look forward to meeting all of you. If you have any questions regarding the above, please do not hesitate to contact me at (212) 264-3348. Sincerely, Amy R.
