IMPORTANT NOTICE: VIDHS SNAP DOCUMENTS DUE TO 
SECURE AUGUST 2023 BENEFITS 
 
Attention SNAP clients!! Did you receive mail from the VI Department of Human Services (DHS) SNAP 
Offices about completing your Recertification Application, Periodic Report, or letter requesting additional 
information? Please pay attention to the due dates on each document received. If the Recertification 
Application, Periodic Report, or letter requesting additional information are not received by the due dates, 
your benefits would not be automatically uploaded to your card, and this may result in your case being 
closed. For first-time applicants, we remind you to ensure that your application packets are complete, 
including all mandatory documents, and that you have duly signed the application. 
 
We understand the significance of these benefits for your household, and we want to make sure that every 
eligible recipient receives them promptly. To avoid any disruptions in your benefits, please act promptly 
and adhere to the specified deadlines.
