Re: Nomination ol Mr. Vincent L. Roberts—Department of Sports, Parks, and Recreation
Dear Mr. President:
In accordance with the provisions of flUe 3. Chapter 18 § 301 of the Virgin Islands Code, I hereby
nominate Mr. Vincent L. Roberts to serve as the Commissioner of the Department of Sports, Parks, and
Recreation (DSPR). Mr. Roberts is currently serving as the Acting Commissioner ofthe Department of Sports,
Parks, and Recreation and has worked for the Department since 2007. He has served in various capacities
including as Assistant Commissioner for the St. Thomas-St. John District, as well as Assistant Director of
Sports and Recreation, and Sports Coordinator.
Accordingly, it is my pleasure to ask for the advice and consent of the Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the
Virgin Islands on the nominalion of Mr. Vinccnt L. Roberts. A copy of his resume is enclosed for your review.
I respectfully urge the Legislature to take timely action to advance this nomination to prevent any delays in
the official functions of the Department olSports, Parks, and Recreation.
Your prompt and favorable confirmation will enhance the Department of Sports, Parks, and Recreation
