Water and Power Authority (The

to adjust the Water System's  
L evelized Energy Adjustment 
Clause (LEAC) rate on July 15, 
2023. 
The petition is for a proposed
Water System LEAC rate of
$9.53/kgal. The proposed rate
is an increase of $1.71 from the
current Water LEAC rate of
$7.82/kgal. The increase in the
proposed LEAC rate is a result
of rising costs.
The Authority's petition seeks rate relief for its water production costs and other production-related expenses.
Table 1 below reflects the components of the proposed Water LEAC rates.
