Be it enacted Oy the Colomial Council for St. Croix in Session assembled:-- THAT the unexpenced balance of funds appropriated under main- tenance for the department of Public Instruction for the fiscal year 19138--19 shall be avaiiable to pay -for school books, meds and other similar equipment, contract- ed for during the said fiscal year but not delivered before the expi- ration thereof, it heing expressly anderstood that this authorization is limited to. the purpose above mentioned and ~that no change in classification of the books, maps etc.; from equipment to mainten- ance is intended.
