Action Taken by the UVI Board of Trustees 
 
Candidates for Tenure 
The President presented the two candidates for tenure. An introduction and outline of each 
candidate’s credentials was presented. 
The Board of Trustees, at its meeting of June 15, 2013, voted unanimously to grant tenure 
to the following candidates: 
 
1. Dr. Kimarie Engerman – College of Liberal Arts and Sciences 
2. Dr. Karen Cooper – School of Nursing
