FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE GOVERNOR MAPP NAMED MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNORS ASSOCIATION ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND COMMERCE COMMITTEE (July 27, 2015, St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands) Governor Kenneth E Mapp was named a member of the National Governors Association (NGA) Economic Development and Commerce Committee by NGA Chair Utah Gov. Gary Herbert and NGAVice Chair Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe. The Economic Development and Commerce Committee handles issues dealing with transportation infrastructure, telecommunications, international trade promotion, financial services regulation, science and technology development, and affordable housing.
