REQUEST FOR SAFARI MANUFACTURING INSTRUCTIONS 
• This form must be filled out by the owner of the vehicle who is 
requesting manufacturing of their Safari. 
• Include with the application photos of the vehicle as it is currently; 
Front, back and both sides of the vehicle and the VIN. 
• Required documents:  
o Business License 
o Copy of driver’s license of the contact person 
o Letter stating that the contact person can do 
business on behalf of the company, if not the 
owner. 
• This application must be approved prior to the start of the 
manufacturing of the Safari. 
• Final seating capacity of the manufactured safari shall not exceed 
twenty (20) passengers. 
• Upon completion of the process, the safari must be inspected by 
the Bureau of Motor Vehicles before it can be registered as a 
complete vehicle. 
• Written approval from the Virgin Islands Taxicab Commission must 
also be submitted to the BMV in order to register the vehicle as a
