Action Taken by UVI Board of Trustees

Tenure



Under the provisions of the Faculty Policy Manual, Section 5, Subsection (g) Special

appointments with Tenure, it was requested by the President for the Board to consider granting

tenure to the following two members of the administrative staff:



e Dr. Gwen Marie Moolenaar, Provost and Professor of Biology

e Dr. John Leipzig, chancellor and Professor of Communication, St. Thomas Campus



The Board of Trustees, at its meeting of Saturday, June 21, 2003, unanimously approved both

candidates presented for tenure.
