WHEREAS, on March 7, 2024, the Governor of the Virgin Islands approved the lease

agreement between the Government of the Virgin Islands and Dale Browne and Yvette Browne 
2 
d/b/a Sejah Farm of the Virgin Islands for a 20-year term with the option to renew for an 
3 
additional 10-year term; 
4 
WHEREAS, Dale Browne and Yvette Browne d/b/a Sejah Farm of the Virgin Islands 
5 
will be leasing Plot No. 9-P Estate VICORP Lands, Prince Quarter, St. Croix, Virgin Islands, 
6 
consisting of 655,395.048 U.S. sq. ft. or 15.0458 U.S. acre(s) of land more-or-less, shown on 
7 
O.L.G. No. A9-5-C008 to be used for crop and livestock production; 
8 
WHEREAS, the rent will be $225.69 per annum; and 
9 
WHEREAS, title 31 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 21, section 205, subsection (c) provides 
10 
that in addition to the Governor’s approval of any lease, the Legislature of the Virgin Islands 
11 
must approve all leases exceeding a term of one year; Now, Therefore,

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  Pursuant to title 31 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 21,  section 205, 
1 
subsection (c), the Legislature of the Virgin Islands approves the lease agreement between the 
2 
Government of the Virgin Islands, acting through the Commissioner of the Virgin Islands 
3 
Department of Property and Procurement, and Dale Browne and Yvette Browne d/b/a Sejah 
4 
Farm of the Virgin Islands for Plot No. 9-P Estate VICORP Lands, Prince Quarter, St. Croix, 
5 
Virgin Islands, consisting of 655,395.048 U.S. sq. ft. or 15.0458 U.S. acre(s) of land more-or-
6 
less, shown on O.L.G. No. A9-5-C008 for a 20-year term with the option to renew for an  
7 
additional 10-year term at an annual rent of $225.69 to be used for crop and livestock 
8 
production.
