An Act providing an appropriation from the Anti-Litter and Beautification Fund to the Virgin

Islands Waste Management Authority and the Virgin Islands Department of Public Works for

operating expenses during the fiscal year October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:



SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are

appropriated from the Anti-Litter and Beautification Fund in the Treasury of the Government

of the Virgin Islands, created by Act No. 7536, to the following departments for operating

expenses for the fiscal year October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024.

Department of Public Works $1,000,000

Abandoned Vehicles — STX $ 75,000

Abandoned Vehicles — STT $ 75,000

Mitchell Motel Quarterly Cleanup — STT $ 75,000

Total Department of Public Works $1,300,000
