2018, by and between the GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS, DEPARTMENT

OF PROPERTY AND PROCUREMENT, of Bldg #1 Sub Base, Third Floor, St. Thomas, U.S.

Virgin Islands, on behalf of the VIRGIN ISLANDS DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, 1834

Kongens Gade, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, (hereinafter “the Government”) and the

UNIVERSITY OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS, No. 2 John Brewers Bay, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin

Islands, an instrumentality of the Government of the United States Virgin Islands (hereinafter “the

University”) on behalf of the Eastern Caribbean Center. The Government and the University

hereinafter referred to as the “Parties”.



WITNESSETH:



WHEREAS, on November 6, 2017 the Parties entered into Memorandum of Agreement

No. GOOIDOET18 (hereinafter “Agreement” or “MOA”) to develop procedures for carrying out

a survey entitled “Special Education Parent Satisfaction Survey 2016” that will provide reliable

estimates of the degree of parents’ satisfaction with the Special Education Program and the

services provided by Virgin Islands Department of Education; and



WHEREAS, the Agreement is due to terminate on July 30, 2018; and



WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the completion dates of the Roles and

Responsibilities described in Addendum I (Scope of Services); and



WHEREAS, the amended services shall require an extension to the term of the Agreement

to September 30, 2018; and



WHEREAS, the Parties also desire to amend Addendum II (Compensation) to include an

installment schedule for the payment of services; and



WHEREAS, the services described in Amended Addendum I (Scope of Services) shall

not require a change to Addendum II (Compensation) in the amount of SIXTY-SIX THOUSAND,

FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY NINE DOLLARS AND EIGHT CENTS ($66,579.08); and



NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree that the Agreement is amended as follows:
