OPENING UP OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES NEBTINGS



(Board of Trustees Meeting, February 8, 1976)



A discussion took place...with regard to the question

of opening the meetings of the Board of Trustees to inter-—

ested members of the faculty and student body. It was

agreed that (1) those parts of regular meetings of the

Board of Trustees which were not executive sessions would

be open to interested observers, (2) that those attending

in this capacity would be passive listeners and not

perticipants in the meetings, and (3) that needed steps



would be taken to assure adherence to this latter rule.
