The hearing will focus on “Aging with Dignity: Oversight of Nursing Homes and CMS Certification Readiness 
in the Virgin Islands.” As Executive Director of AARP Virgin Islands, your insight and advocacy on behalf of 
our senior population are critical to this discussion.

• The current state of nursing home and long-term care services in the Territory. 
• Barriers affecting seniors access to safe, affordable, and high-quality care. 
• Policy recommendations to strengthen oversight and CMS certification readiness. 
• Strategies to ensure seniors can age with dignity in the Virgin Islands.
