This letter provides a formal endorsement for Attorney Melanie Turnbull. I have known Ms.

Turnbull personally and professionally for over ten years. During this time, I have observed and

interacted with her in various settings, and I am particularly impressed by her unwavering

commitment to fairness and her dedication to the law.



As a U.S. Marshal for the District of the Virgin Islands, I often receive requests to endorse

candidates for different roles and positions. I am usually cautious out of respect for my position's

authority. However, I confidently recommend Attorney Turnbull without hesitation, believing

neither you nor your organization would be disappointed by her selection. In an era where

embodying the voice of the law can be challenging, Ms. Turnbull exemplifies doing so with pride

and humility. She understands the crucial duty to uphold the law and serve the community, a

demanding path in such close-knit surroundings.



Her leadership is clear; she commands respect from her peers in the Federal Courts and the legal

community. I have seen her stay composed and foster consensus among her peers with ease. Her

focus on the mission rather than personal recognition will serve her well in her career.



As a Virgin Islander myself, I am proud to see her rise to the Superior Court Bench and view her

as arole model for our youth. Her engagement with students and community groups greatly boosts

the morale of underprivileged children who might view crime as their only option. She

demonstrates that success comes from hard work, perseverance, and humility, viewing failures as

valuable lessons.



For these reasons, I wholeheartedly endorse Ms. Turnbull for the position of Superior Court Judge

in the Family Division. I believe she would be a valuable asset to the Virgin Islands community
