Per your suggestion, I am writing to formalize my request to meet:
to discuss the schedule for completion of the RI/FS for the above-
referenced site. I am forwarding to you a copy of the September
22, 1993 letter from Alberto Gutierrez, representing the TUTU
Technical Group, to Melvin Hauptman. That letter responds to a
number of the issues that you and Ms. Kwan raised regarding the
Group's August 13, 1993 letter and reiterates our goal of
attempting to work towards an integrated solution for the TUTU
aquifer. The schedule and tasks proposed in the letter differ from
those the TE1C is currently working under; therefore, we feel that
a meeting would be appropriate to present the case made in the
letter and to attempt to obtain your approval. Please contact me
so that we can schedule a meeting at your earliest opportunity.
