Questions and Answers: 
 
 
 
1. Question: What is the age group for each school that will utilize the playground 
equipment? 
 
Response: The target age group for all schools are between ages 5-12. 
 
2. Question: Do you have any dimensions on the playground area?  In the package 
there is a scale for the drawings provided. Could you tell what size the drawings 
need to be so we can use the scale on drawings? 
 
Response: No, the general locations are indicated for the playgrounds. Bidders 
will be required to make site visits to determine suitable playground sizes for the 
identified area within the schools.  
 
3. Question: Do we have to demo any old playgrounds in the designated areas? 
 
Response: No playground demo will be required at Arthur Richards K-8, Juanita 
Garden K-8, Lockhart Elementary School and Jane E. Tuitt Elementary School. 
Playground demo will be required at Alfredo Andrews and Yvonne E. Milliner-
Bowsky Elementary Schools. 
 
4. Question: How long do you need to be licensed in the V.I. to bid on government 
jobs? 
 
Response: In order to submit a proposal, the bidder as stated in Section J, must 
show evidence of business license or registration in their state of register.
