an auditor
and

It strikes
me and

getting used
to
it by
now that
Gov-
ernment
is
blamed
for all
delinquenciss
of every
kind and deseription,
but in this
particular
case
it has
been
well
over
two
months
ago since
I pointed
out the
fact
that
an auditor
had
not
been
appointed
and requested
that immediate
astion
be
taken
to.remedy
the situation
and
that
immediately
upon
the appointment
of the
auditor
he
go fover
the
accounts
of
the
whole
fiscal
year.
I would suggest,
how-
ever
that
an auditor
be appointed
at the
earliest
possible
mon ent
and
that
one of
the stipulations
in offering him
the posi
tion be that
he
go
over
all tae
accounts
of the fiscal year,
The
amendment
handed
in
by
2nd
Member for Christiansted
Country
Dis-
trict (Berg)
was again read
by the Chair-
man and
put
to the
vole with
the
result
that
4 members
voied for 8 against.
The Chairman remarked:
The amend-
ment
is lost.
